Crazy to see Lehman go under this week.  Equally crazy to see the market down 500 points in a day.  Hopefully this means cheaper houses when we are looking around...at least short term.

Insults

To anyone that's ever been insulted, I think you should know that it could've been worse...apparently after getting disqualified in a bronze metal match, a Cuban taekwondo athlete kicked the referee in the face. In response, the World Taekwondo Federation (WTF indeed) secretary general said "This is an insult to the Olympic vision, an insult to the spirit of taekwondo and, in my opinion, an insult to mankind."

"An insult to mankind." Wow. That's pretty aggressive. WTF WTF general secretary.

In the athlete's defense, his coach claimed the judge was "too strict" and also claimed he was bribed by the Kazakh's.

Lunch

My bro (J) calls me today at work. He asks if I'm shakin' and bakin'. Then sings the bass to some techno song. Then tells me he has to go as if I called him and he can't really talk now...

Passed the last part of the CFA exam today...woohoo!

Came home to celebrate and watched the Tori Spelling reality show. Pretty bad show. She got pissed that paparazzi follow her around. I'm sorry but you are putting your life on display with cameras around 24/7 then you get mad when a few guys take pictures of you when you are shopping for groceries?? I'm just saying.

Words on Water Faucets

Why do some sinks have two spouts...one for hot water and one for cold water. Nobody in there right mind uses just the hot water. You always have the delicate balancing act of taking some cold water then adding a little hot water to it.
